Join Grant Cottage Operations Manager Ben Kemp as we discuss Ulysses S. Grant, his faith and his views on religion. This moderated discussion group is open to the public and all are encouraged to bring their own personal research and share their insights on the subject. We'll explore Grant's life with a focus on how his own faith and that of others affected it. We'll take a look at how he expressed his own faith and how he viewed other faiths than his own in the context of his times. Information will also be available on becoming a member and/or volunteer with the Friends of US Grant Cottage, the organization that operates the local State Historic Site atop Mt. McGregor in Wilton, NY. Contact ben@grantcottage.org or 518-538-8330 to register. Meeting will take place in the Susman Room at the Saratoga Springs Public Library. (Do not contact the Saratoga Springs Library directly about this event.)
