Grant Cottage welcomes school groups of all ages from May through October. Contact us today to learn about the many programs and activities our site is ready to offer your kids. Enjoy historical fun and the beautiful outdoors at a National Historic and Literary Landmark.

We participate in New York State Parks' Connect Kids to Parks Field Trip Grant Program (Connect Kids), a field trip refund grant program. Click here for information on this program.

Educational Visits are available from May 1 - Nov. 1 (weather permitting). Preferred dates are weekdays until Memorial Day, Mon/Tues in June and weekdays after Labor Day.

A minimum of 1 hour is recommended for smaller groups, 1.5-2 hours for larger groups.

Maximum limit of 60 students per visit. Multiple visits can be arranged for larger groups.

Many great individual stories about the Grant family and some new artifacts on display. We brought lunch and enjoyed that on the overlook, on a clear day with that spectacular view.
