Grant Cottage is sponsoring a bus trip to Grant's Tomb in NYC on Thursday October 18. The Park Rangers have put together a special tour for us including a walking tour around the Tomb and a guided visit to the mausoleum.
We will leave Wilton Mall at 8:30 a.m., with a second pickup at the Park-and-Ride just off Exit 8 on the Northway at 9 a.m.. There will be a short rest stop on the thruway, with arrival at the Tomb no later than 1:00 pm. The schedule provided by Grant's Tomb staff is copied below.
Participants should bring a brown bag lunch. We will leave the Tomb no later than 3:45 pm, with a somewhat longer rest stop on the way back, arriving back by 7:30 pm.
Bookings will not be refundable after October 11th, unless we have a waiting list to fill slots.
