Admission

Tours of the Cottage

Tours MUST arrive 15 minutes prior to their start time. Tours run every 30 minutes. Last Tour of the day begins promptly at 3:30pm.

Adults: $12

Seniors (62 & up): $9

Ages 17 & under: $5

Children under 6: FREE

Members: FREE

Veterans/Active Military/Gold Star Family Members: FREE w/ I.D.

Living History Tours: $18 per person. Available Wednesday, Friday, & Sunday at 3:30pm. Extended Tour of Grant Cottage with a guide in 1885 period dress and character.

Private Tours: $100 (Available outside normal business hours by appointment April-Oct) Living History add-on $25.

Victorian History Stroll

Mt. McGregor Victorian History Stroll - $10 per person.

Available Sundays at 1:00pm.

Stroll into the past with a guided tour of the historic site grounds. Learn about the incredible enterprise and ambition it took to create a Victorian wilderness resort on Mt. McGregor. Descriptions of the resort and the interesting characters that created it help to bring the past alive as you walk in the footsteps of history. (Note: The tour is of the grounds only, not the interior of the Grant Cottage, and involves walking on various surfaces/terrain.)

*There is NO Admission Fee to visit the site grounds, visitor center, or gift shop*

*The Empire Pass & National Parks Pass do not cover the cost of Tour Admission

Accessibility
We have limited handicap parking available, but parking is close to the buildings. The Visitor Center and the Cottage are both handicap accessible. Guided tours are no longer than 30 minutes with no longer than 20 minutes standing/walking. Visitors may use walkers/wheelchairs in the Cottage and can be accommodated with folding chairs in the Cottage if needed. The path to the overlook is a steep grade so may not be recommended for those with mobility issues.

(NOTE: Access to the Historic Site grounds is prohibited outside of operating hours.)

Pet Policy

Well-behaved, leashed pets are allowed on the grounds of the Historic Site but are not permitted in the buildings. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Allowances made for ADA-defined service animals.
